According to Bleeding Cool this Judge Dredd poster by Tim Bradstreet has been circulating Cannes Film Festival, hinting at a new Dredd movie to be coming our way.
And thanks to Movie Moron and Sky Movies I can assure readers that this is, indeed, the truth.
I think you're all aware of just who Judge Dredd is...Sci-Fi Cop that rules over Mega City One (along with a load of other "judges"), shooting people first and generally not asking questions unless the storyline needs to progress somewhere.
They attempted to make a film before:
It was an entertaining film, but not actually all that good.
So lets just hope that this new reboot won't be so bad...oh, and it's being filmed in 3D, to jump on the bandwagon, etc.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I ever did see all of Judge Dredd, but I did see enough to get the gist of what it was about. I might give a new movie a chance, depending on who's in it and what impressions I get from the trailers.
ReplyDeleteThere are rumours that Dredd will be played by Timothy Olyphant...which would be really fucking good.

I like Olyphant, so I'd probably see it if that rumor turns out to be true.
